Your correspondent seems to suggest (nay, blatantly states) that peace and tranquility cannot be found without God or Jesus.

What of the millions of Moslems, who revere Jesus only as a prophet and not a deity?

What of Buddha, who achieved peace and tranquility without recourse to any God or god?

Peace and tranquility come from within. If trained, you can find peace and tranquility while focusing on a teapot. It's an inner state of mind and not due to any external influence.
